Kirsten manages day-to-day office tasks to ensure smooth operation, is the liaison for vendor relationships, and provides administrative support to the business owners and leadership. Previously, Kirsten held various roles within the YMCA Movement, which included managing the Member Services department at a $5mm YMCA branch in Houston and supporting over 15 consultants across the nation at the YMCA of the USA. Kirsten received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University in 2014.
Greg Van Patten directs all aspects of the development and construction process for the firm’s development activity. He has over 28 years of experience in both market rate and affordable multifamily and mixed-use development, with communities ranging from low-rise garden style to urban mid-rise and high-rise, as well as senior housing. Greg was previously Senior Vice President of Development for The Wolff Company, where he oversaw the company’s multifamily development activity in the Pacific Northwest from 2011 to 2020, totaling nearly 5,800 units and over $1.4 billion in total costs. Greg has a BBA in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, and an MBA from the University of Oregon. Prior to college he served three years active duty in the U.S. Army.
Carlen covers new deal flow for Stellar with responsibilities including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling and capitalization.
Carlen joined Stellar in 2021 from Unico Properties. At Unico, Carlen worked across the acquisitions and development teams on new investments in the Western United States. Carlen worked to source and execute $400M in office and industrial acquisitions. On Unico’s development team, he worked on new construction and adaptive reuse of office and multifamily assets. Carlen also spent time with Unico Solar Investors, from sourcing to closing on commercial and small-scale utility solar developments.
Carlen grew up in Philadelphia and graduated in 2018 from Trinity College with a BA in Economics. He lives in Seattle where he is involved with several non-profit organizations.

Jenny Jonsson is Vice President of Strategic Development at Bansvik Holdings in Stockholm, Sweden. Bansvik Holdings amongst other things, is the owner of ByggVesta AB, a leading developer of sustainable rental apartments and student housing in major cities around Sweden. Alongside being operational in the company, she sits on the board and acts as an active owner.
Jenny also co-founded Yalla Rinkeby, a women’s cooperative in Sweden, together with her mother Laurie Jonsson. Yalla Rinkeby trains and empowers immigrant women who are far from the working world in cooking, catering, entrepreneurship, sewing, Swedish language skills and leadership. The initiative started in parallel to ByggVesta building new rental apartments in the surrounding area and was created together with the local population after a year of extensive interviews and focus group meetings conducted by Jenny and Laurie. Jenny now serves as active chairman for the organization.
