Stellar's founder Lars Jonsson plays a leading role at Stellar both stateside and in Sweden. Lars has been actively involved in commercial real estate since coming to the U.S. in 1986. Lars’ international resume includes serving as CEO of NICO International (a Swedish-based engineering and marine service company), Vice President and Head of the Transportation division for Nynäs Petroleum (one of Sweden’s major oil companies), and Manager of Sales and Marketing for the New Building Division of Gotaverken (a world-leading Swedish shipbuilding company). He has extensive experience in business with global competition and cyclical markets and, as a member of Cabinet-level Swedish trade missions, has been involved in high-level transactions in numerous countries, including, Mexico, Venezuela, and Cuba. In 2006, the Swedish Government appointed Lars to be the Honorary Swedish Consul for the state of Washington. He also serves (the boards of) several not-for-profit organizations. Lars graduated from the Gothenburg School of Business and completed the Senior Executive Program at Stanford University.Back To Team
