Carlen covers new deal flow for Stellar with responsibilities including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling and capitalization. 

Carlen joined Stellar in 2021 from Unico Properties. At Unico, Carlen worked across the acquisitions and development teams on new investments in the Western United States. Carlen worked to source and execute $400M in office and industrial acquisitions. On Unico’s development team, he worked on new construction and adaptive reuse of office and multifamily assets. Carlen also spent time with Unico Solar Investors, from sourcing to closing on commercial and small-scale utility solar developments.   

Carlen grew up in Philadelphia and graduated in 2018 from Trinity College with a BA in Economics. He lives in Seattle where he is involved with several non-profit organizations.
